Hexagon paper punching!

In today's class we used a hexagon paper punch and scraps to create interesting cards. These ladies did amazing things!

Neylin is fearless...adding washi and cute little cut outs to her cards.

Here Jeanette shows how savvy she is by using other embellishments to her creations.

Scrap In @Michaels-Pelham Manor

Crafting at Michaels-Pelham Manor Saturday, July 8th....

It's another great Saturday...perfect for scrapbooking or craft with Demali! Once a month we get together at Michaels to craft together. Some of the ladies bring scrapbook pages to journal, baby albums to embellish, cardstock to construct albums from scratch, and even Happy planners to work on. 

We bring snacks 🍬 and order food usually from Pizza Pizza (Yummy). 

We have fun games and call raffles at the end of our night. 

It's a blast! 

We have classes almost every Tuesday on  card making, scrapbooking, mixed media, distressing techniques, and scrapbooking & memory planning.

DIY wall Decoration

Bless this home and all who enter....
Finally I have my beautiful wall decor up!  I am wondering if I should add some more butterflies.  

We recently painted the wall in the living room and decided that we wanted something nice. 

 

     

We went to Michaels and purchase this vinyl saying to place on our main wall.

We decide to cover these butteflies designed by Heidi Swapp with blue foil using the new Minc machine!

I will admit you had to be very careful not to rip off any of the pieces. If it resisted I placed the paper back over it and then rubbed again. 

Olivia was so helpful. She rubbed the letters onto the was. It tool a bit of elbow grease but...

We just love it.

Tim Holtz Altered Scrapbook kits

 Here we are at Michaels creating a fun kit by Tim Holtz which is a spin on regular scrapbook pages.  Everyone's kits were different-Clock, tiled picture frame, and mini album. Check out our Meet Up calendar and join us.  

Everyone got straight to work. I assisted as needed. These Tim Holtz kits are pretty cool!

Everyone at the table was creating a Tim Holtz kit except for  the two ladies in the back. They were happy as clams designing 12x12 scrapbook pages for their babies.

We have other cool classes such as: rubber stamping, card making, scrapbooking, mixed media, banners, and distressing!  

We have awesome crops, we get together first Saturday of every month.

Scrap IN -June

Hey Everyone!  

June is here! Can you believe it?  Well we will have our next Scrap-In at Michaels this coming Saturday June, 6th, 2015 from 3-9pm!!  Its only $5 and all you have to bring is your snack, and your projects!  Hope to see you there...we only have a few spots left! Have a crafty kind of day!
